Manos Tsalamanios is a child and adolescent psychiatrist, Director of the Department of Child- Adolescent Psychiatric and Director of the Psychiatric Sector of the “Asklepieio Voulas” General Hospital as well. He was trained for one year in “Adolescent psychiatric psychopathology” (research and psychotherapy) at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX. He has many years of experience in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, especially in the training of specialized child and adolescent psychiatrists. He is a regular member of the Board of Selection of new consultants for NHS in Attica and an alternate member of the examination committee of the specialty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He has been vice president of the Hellenic Society of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (2012-13), and is a member of the Board of the Hellenic Society for the Study of ADHD. He is also member of the National Committee of Mental Health.
