Evika Karamagioli is a jurist who serves as Scientific Associate of the MSc Global Health -Disaster Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and as lecturer of the MSc in Digital Communication Media and Interaction Environments, of the Media Faculty of the same University. She lectures in both faculties on health humanities and participatory Governance and Digital innovation for good. She holds a PhD in Social Sciences from Université Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint. She is fluent in Greek (native language), English and French. She has numerous publications in health humanitarian and digital innovation for good along with presentations in conferences and congresses. Since 2006, she is involved in lead roles with technical consultancy and coordination responsibilities in more than 15 ICT and Development aid national and international projects in the areas of social innovation, disaster response, participatory design, open governance. Since 2020 she serves as Honorary visiting Assistant Professor in humanitarian crisis management, communication and technology in the Medical School, University of Bern, Switzerland.
